Most of the shots given are booster shots. Two MMR shots?
Varicella needs to be taken twice at 1 month intervals, however most doctors sign and seal the package when you take the first varicella shot and then ask you to come back one month later and take the 2nd shot, if not, you can insist the doctor to do so.
Needed shots are MMR, TD and Varicella, all others are Age unappropriate for us(atleast the applicants and spouses).

After we have filed for 485 and lets say we (me and my spouse) receive our EAD's. If I quit my job after 6 months of filing, can my spouse (secondary applicant) continue to renew her EAD's or would she have problems since I (the primary applicant) is no longer working for the company and maybe working for myself?

My wife is MS Graduate with degree in Electrical Engg - wireless specialization.
She switched from F1 to H4 as she couldnot find a job.
Now that she can work from Oct, she is seeking suitable job.
If any of you folks know any consulting/full-time employer seeking candidates, please PM me.
I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get in this regard.

I received a Biometric Apt. through my attorney a month back and I appeared for the apt. The time was coincided with my move so it went to attorney and didnt come to my address.
Now I received another notice dated one month later than the first one. So I want to talk to them and findout if it necessary to appear again.

Jul 2nd filer. EAD approved late Sep and notice mailed on 10/2/07. (LUD on EAD 10/2)
There is a LUD on the AP application on 10/4/07, but the status still says case received and pending. What could this LUD be ?
When I saw the LUD (with 10/4) I got excited and thought AP was approved too, but when I click the case details , it still says pending. The text of the details did not change.

Guys,
My company is forcing everyone to fill I9 form. I have EAD but maintaining H1 status and did not use EAD. I did some research on I9 and it is no where mentioned that only people with EAD has to fill this. I need Guru's opinion on this.
I just don't want to loose my H1 status in any case.
I-9 should be filled by every employee, irrespective of your visa status; Go through the list A, B and C documents, it is self explanatory. This is the proof that you reported to work.

I am sure this has been discussed in detail before but I couldn't find the related threads..So i am posting it again..Sorry for the spam..
My wife converted from H4 to H1 last year (H1 started Oct 2007). She has been working for the H1 sponsoring employer since 10/1/2007...She plans to take a break now and relax for a few months for personal reasons...Can we update the I-9 form with her EAD info and work for a few days and then take a break...I know by doing this she will lose her H1 status but we are fine with that as she will be using her EAD moving forward...I am a July 2nd filer with 140 approved, so I dont see any risk in my I-485 as it is a pretty straightforward case...Have been with only 1 employer since Jan 2001 with PD: Nov, 2003 EB-3 India.
I just wanted to check if this is ok...Any thing that we need to look into before changing the I-9 to EAD....

Hello everyone,
I have heard that if you cancel your first LC and apply for a Second one you can still use the advertisements and all from the first one if you fall withing that "6 month" period. My question is -
Is it 6 month from the first day that the advertisement was published or is it 6 month from the day your first LC was approved? :confused:
Experts please shed some light on this.

I have the following situation.
I got married in June 2009 and my wife had a Business visa and she had travelled once. After our marriage, she travelled on her Business visa again in July for three months till October end 2009.
I have a H1 valid till June mid 2010 and when I tried to process her H4, many people said that, since the duration left in my visa is very less, chances of rejection are higher.
On her Visa, it is written as B1 / B2.
So it would be helpful for me to know, if she can travel on her business visa as a visitor [her visa has B1 / B2]. If she has to travel, does she need a letter from her company or do I have to provide the documents whereby I show that, I can take care of her in US.
If there is any other way, please let me know.

You need to have a labor application filed (need not be approved) 365 days before the expiry of the 6th year in order to get the 7th year extension.

I had filed for Advance Parole renewal for me and my wife in July since our APs were expiring in mid October. I got the renewed Advance Parole last week with the expiry date as Oct 2011. My wife got hers today but instead of October, it has the start date of Aug 2010 and expires on Aug 2011. I don't know why the USCIS handled it in this way. She has lost 2 months. The Advance Parole extension was paper filed at the Texas Service Center. Can anyone tell me how I can get this rectified, if at all it is possible.

Hi ,
I Am planning to apply for my 10th Year H-1B Extension with the same employer.
My last H-1B was in 2007. I looked on doleta.gov The Prevailing Wage
in 2007 for the same job and same location as I am right now at
Level 3 was 57000.00, Now in 2010 it is 76000.
I talked to my Employer about this, he says he cannot raise my salary that much.
My Question is
1. When I applied for Foreign Labor Cert On-line does the
Prevailing Wage has to be most recent even in case of H-1B Extension ?
2. Is is ok If I go to Level-2 Instead of Level-3, will it considered as
change in Employment ?
3. The Prevailing Wage for 2008 for the same job and same location
as I am right now at is 66000. Should I Try to Apply for labor
cert referencing 2008 Prevailing Wage. ?
4. What are my options ?

1) Wrap up the backlog and introduce enough visas to make all categories EB2/EB3 current for everyone.
2) Eliminate this nonsense of H1 visa stamp. A person should be able to apply for visa while remaining in the US.

Do priority dates matter now?
with the deluge of applications that will be filed,will the priority dates matter anymore?
lets say someone with a priority date of Dec 2006 (EB2-ROW) applied for 485 in Feb 2007...will his case be processed before a person with a September 2005 priority date that filed in July 2007 (EB2-India)?
so other than allowing us to file the 485 the priority date has no value?
